"Exactly What I Need"
Lent is the season of the Church Year when we recognize our greatest needs. During Lent, we realize that God knows what we need even when we don’t have any idea, and that in Jesus Christ all our greatest needs are met! The Holy Spirit makes it clear, week after week, that if one lacks Christ, he has nothing. However, believers who possess Christ by faith can confidently proclaim, “I have EXACTLY WHAT I NEED.”
Wednesday Lenten Services
"It Is Finished"
At our Wednesday evening services we will read the story of Jesus’ suffering and death from the book of Matthew and hear Holy Week prophecies about him from the book of Zechariah. Since Jesus perfectly fulfilled his mission to save us by living a perfect life in our place and dying a sacrificial death as our substitute, he could confidently declare from the cross, “IT IS FINISHED.”
