"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

-2 Timothy 3:16,17

Bible Information Class

Wednesdays     6:30 PM
Beginning: Wednesday, April 14

In our congregation, we believe, teach, and confess the saving message that God’s Son, Jesus Christ, has lived, died, and risen from death to take away our sins and secure us a home in heaven!  Our pastor is eager to discuss this central truth and everything else God says in the Bible, as well as other matters related to religion and philosophy.

All people of all ages (especially those interested in joining our congregation) are invited to our church on Wednesday, April 14th at 6:30 pm for the first of 10 Wednesday evening sessions as our pastor begins teaching a course on the basic truths of Christianity.

The Minor Prophets: Zechariah

Tuesdays     7:00 PM
Beginning: Tuesday, April 20

All members and friends of our congregation are invited to attend our ongoing Bible Study on the Minor Prophets.

The Minor Prophets, or the "Book of the Twelve" include the last twelve books of our Old Testament (Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi).  These books of prophecy are so named because they are considerably shorter than the books of the Major Prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel), not because God's message through them is any less significant.

Bible Study participants will be blessed as we briefly survey the work of each prophet and read a part of each prophecy from the Bible.  We will learn how the LORD used these men to share Law and Gospel with his people; confronting their sin, bringing them to repentance, absolving them, and so restoring them to a right relationship with God.  As we read how these men pointed God's children ahead to the coming Messiah, we too will find comfort in God's promises of forgiveness and new life for his people, fulfilled through our Savior Jesus Christ.
